G25 Scaled PCA for TA members of fully or majority Southern European descent.
If you want to be added but don't feel comfortable posting your G25 coordinates here, you might want to send them for me via PM.
I won't be adding ppl of Northern European descent or those who have over 30% extra-euro ancestry here in order to prevent distortions, I'm sorry :(

Some observations:

- Sardinia and Macedonia had to be removed because they were too outlying and stretching the PCA too much;
- also removed Extremadura and Andalucia because they were forming an unreadable cluster, they plot next to the Portuguese;
- I know there's something wrong with CH_Italian but I don't have a better sample for it, sorry;
- special thanks to gixajo for providing the West_Iberian and NE Italian averages.

Add "Country:" in front of the regional averages for all countries to avoid having 1001 labels..
Also, you might consider prepending the coordinates with "labelonly@" to remove labels altogether, since you will be showing the names on the PCA.

The Greek average seems to be almost on top of the Izmir average if I'm reading the chart correctly.
If that's so then his placement is to be expected as he is very close to the Greek Izmir average.

Your region seems to be forming a very linear continuum that might be hiding tendencies, but since I'm uneducated about the Balkans I cannot say if it's right.

Yes, on most calculators and different softwares I'm usually around Serbians/Bosnians, and it happens a lot that I get modeled as Bulgarian too (these nations are closely related to each other genetically). My father is somewhere between Bulgarians and Greeks genetically.

Interesting pattern, with two major gaps representing the adriatic and balearic seas as genetic barriers, and two bridges, where the balkans connect with the Italian peninsula throught the South Italy + Greek islands cluster, while South France unites Northern Italy and Iberia. The Balearic Islanders are on the very center of the western mediterranean sea barrier :)

You have to email Davidski from Eurogenes requiring your G25 coordinates. He will request your raw data and a $ 12 payment. But since it's a paid service, do this for you, not for others (this campanian sample for example) :lol:

If anyone happen to have coordinates from (unsampled) specific regions from any of the countries plotted on the PCA, feel free to share.
Samples from the european mediterranean basin or specific Greek Islands are very welcome.
If it's a personal sample, make sure you have permission to share them first.
