They also have some of the highest cancer rates in the world, their meat and dairy consumption has increased within the last generations as has the various cancers.

The world body suggests facing up to known risk factors for cancer. This means heeding the advice to stop smoking, reduce alcohol consumption, have a balanced diet, maintain a healthy body weight, and exercise regularly. High consumption of red meat, particularly processed meat, is associated with colorectal cancer.
Hong Kong’s Centre for Health Protection points out that all these risk factors contribute to a variety of cancer types prevalent in the city.

Their life expectancy is the result of a better health care system in a more ''developed'' high meat eating world where the average person lives to around the age of 80. So they don't live that much longer than the rest of the developed world nor consume that much more meat than a already high meat consuming society. Most of these high meat and dairy consuming countries also suffer from high rates of various types of cancers.

Their life expectancy is far from a world record nor impressive. It's mainly impressive compared to polluted 3rd world countries. World record has been recorded in some of the Greek Islands and Okinawa where the average person lives well into the 90's or 100's, or used to at least before Westernization, and where meat consumption is very low. And also where some of the lowest rates of cancer have been recorded.
