This is my result, not too far from the reality I think. I would even say that this is better than FTDNA, more detailed. People who say that this is not accurate, for comparison FTDNA said I'm 44% Balkanic and 15% Italian, almost the same, and I think the Italian is confused with my general Southern European ancestry, same for the Spanish. I actually did this back in August, just for fun, and I'm not here to decide if it's accurate or not, but we can discuss about it.

For those who don't know, ethnically I'm Hungarian (Magyar).

- 0.47% Southern Asian
- 0.44 Northern African & Arabian

I don't think so, it's been around for a while. I did this test in August. It's a company from South Korea. You can either order a kit or upload your data.

Yes, the regions are very similar to the Myheritage regions. But it tells you more about the ethnicities, as you can see similarities with other ethnicities from the Balkans, West Asia, Central Asia, etc.

And how surprising, my highest similarity is with Serbs

In my case it was total nonsense. I did it few months ago.
I'm NW Euro for them in majority.

If you are half Iranian then the Middle Eastern and Asian ancestry makes sense I think.

But yeah your European ancestry looks weird, if you are half Scandinavian or Germanic, but you still got Scandinavian as a second result, so yeah :)

What do you think about my result?

Sort of a good match, but it depends on the ETC. <

Nice result Chris.

I tested with them last year and imo for me they were not very accurate.
Interesting they gave me Armenian % in West Asian also.

They are the only company to have given me such low European score ... around 92% I think.

Thanks! Interesting, I believe there is some overlap between Europeans (especially Southeast Europeans) and Caucasians (I mean people native to the Caucasus region). Maybe they overestimated my West Asian ancestry, maybe not. Admixture Studio consistantly gives me 4-10% West Asian, I got around 8% West Asian on DNA.Land too, LivingDNA said that I'm 5% ,,Middle Eastern'' for a free upload. As you may know it, we have some stories about distant, or not really distant West Asian ancestry on the side of my father, so maybe that's the reason behind it (the integration and assimilation of Armenians in Szekler Land). The Central Asian could be actually East Asian, because that's around my general East Asian score on many different calculators (~2%). Sometimes they choose weird samples for a region (I know a calculator where they use Yakuts from Northeast Siberia as a sample for the ,,Central Asian'' category...) :picard2:

The Italian and the Spanish might be confused with my general Southern European ancestry, which I think is more Greek-like. FTDNA gave me 15% Italian so there goes the accuracy of these tests :)
I believe I'm roughly 92-95% European overall (the rest is West-East Asian). I think Admixture Studio is one of the best tools to detect almost everything.

Hi, it was about 15-20 euros, but I'm not sure anymore because I can't find the website where I bought it xD This was more than 2 months ago. Since then I haven't spent money on these kinds of tests.
