So I have a newly obtained dna file which seems to be too large to upload to gedmatch for example. It is in Vcard format. Any idea what to do with that?

i had to google vcard, it seems it's the same as VCF.
you can convert it to a normal text file with dnakitstudio.

How would you do that? does it require the pro version of the program ?

Ironically, I've been trying to upload a couple of academic samples from Moldova and I've been getting the reverse error "too small". They are 6MB files.

Try to convert in DnaKitStudio to 23&me or Ancestry format.

Try to convert in DnaKitStudio to 23&me or Ancestry format.

But I have a 23andme raw data already. It would not make sense to have another one lol

you can also extract an "all formats" file with dnakitstudio. with all snps from 23andme,acestry,ftdna,myheritage and livingdna.

They are already converted to 23andme v3. It's not a big deal, as I have them on Admixture Studio. I was simply wondering if there would be any differences.
