View Full Version : Crazy Vahaduo Results! Help Me Understand Them?

Recently got a DNA test with 23andMe: 99.4% Greek and Balkan 0.6% Caucausian so I took the time to analyze my results using GEDmatch and vahaduo. For context I am a mix of Greek and Balkan transhuman shepherd tribes. I tried everything available on Gedmatch that was analyzable on vahaduo and included the top 5 here. after these five most jumped to relatively larger distances like @5+ From these that were very low distance to me I'm not sure if they are appropriate. If you can add any insight as to any patterns you see or if you can help me understand the results further please do:

Vlachs are close to mainland Greeks, especially to those in the North of the country, hence why you are noticing some overlaps.

Vlachs are close to mainland Greeks, especially to those in the North of the country, hence why you are noticing some overlaps.

The west Asian is confusing me. Does that mean i am 11.57% middle eastern/non-white? Also how far back would that be and could I connect to this middle eastern family/relatives?

That's a pretty normal value for your ethnicity. You are non-white due to E-V13 though.

That's a pretty normal value for your ethnicity. You are non-white due to E-V13 though.

LOL, let's focus on autosomal DNA for now fellas. Although I appreciate the irrefutable evidence you've provided for E-V13. Autosomally from those results what percentage is non european/non-white?
