K13 of Nekht ankh shows him closest to Coptic egyptians and Abusir el malaq mummies , despite this sample been bad quality his ancestry is overall similar to other egyptian samples..
his ssa level is in range of modern coptic egyptian variation, probably due to its bad quality , if it was higher quality this ssa might have been equivalent with abusir samples.
Nekhit ankh is still less SSA than modern egyptians.

obviously Nekht ankh highest ancestry is Levant PPNB and Natufian with Levant Sidon ancestry still approximate to the ones found in Abusir mummies if this sample to be believed as representative of middle kingdom Upper-egyptians , then this means IranN-related ancestry might have been much older in egypt than thought by some here.

Obviously Nekht ankh and abusir samples and copts get highest Yemenite Jewish , due to there common ancient SouthWest asian ancestry without the later Caucasian waves that shaped the recent Levant.

Thanks for everyone contributed to get Nekht ankh's result.

This is the oldest known autosomal DNA of ancient Egyptians we have so far, and if he was indeed representative to all Middle Kingdom Egyptians then..well, it shows that they were never SSA's to begin with. He clusters the closest to today's Copts and the Abusir mummies of ancient Egyptians from the Iron age period.

His G25 K13 coordinates:
Nakht-Ankh,0,0,11.56,0,48.46,22.65,0,0,3.45,0,0.35,13.52 ,0

It's pretty much common knowledge by now that the AE's are descendants from old stock Levantines like Arabians hence why he has high Levantine PPNB ancestry similar to the Yemenite Jews.

This was a Middle Kingdom Egyptian, predating the Hyksos? How are the afronuts reacting to this? Do we know what region he was from?

13.5% Northeast_African, so he had black ancestry too. More than modern Levantines do.

By a couple of centuries, yes. He's from Upper Egypt. Around 400 km south of Cairo.

Have you come across a gedmatch kit number for Nakht-Ankh? I’m seeing a couple gedmatch runs of him on Reddit and twitter but I can’t seem to find his gedmatch kit number.

Yes, this is predating the Hyksos and from 12th dynasty. Those “afronuts” I haven’t seen them respond to this just yet but they will likely try to discredit it somehow like they did the Abusir mummies. Nakht-Ankh was from upper Egypt from Deir Rifeh/Asyut area. Here’s a map: https://imageshack.com/i/poUJIdv5j

Levantines have about 10%-11% SSA on average. Nakht-Ankh has less SSA than modern muslim Egyptians (14%-21% total) and is more on par with Egyptian Copts (Christian Egyptians). Copts are the closest world population genetically to Nakht-Ankh and it makes sense as Copts are the only people in the world to retain a version of the ancient Egyptian language, albeit in an evolved form.

It's more like 7%-9%

Well actually according to the Gedrosia K3 spreadsheet, Jordanians have 10.66%, Palestinians have 10.86%, Syrians have 9.30% and Lebanese have 8.08%. So we were both right.
