(Reuters) - Germany has banned its largest neo-Nazi association, the HNG, which supports prisoners with far-right views and their families, the Interior Ministry said on Wednesday, the government's latest step to curb the influence of radical groups.

This is just another political-ban by the Far-Left anti-German regime in Berlin.

The only reason they banned them was because the group helped innocent Germans facing prosecution for simply expressing their political, social views and civil rights, by a government that bans all nationalist opposition.

I'm waiting for the EU to denounce these kind of bans on civil liberty organizations, political opposition, and activist organizations, just like they would if it was in Libya, China, Syria, Belarus, or Iran. (Lol not really ...;))

It is a matter of time. Similar to the Wall. Never thought to see that. :)

It's rather ironical that a group that is reported to work "against the constitution" ( I wonder what evidence they've got for that anyway since they provide legal assistance to victims of nothing short of a political repression against dissenters) is banned given that Germany doesn't even have a constitution but a basic law (that was forced upon the country by the Allies).

I wonder whether this group is a threat to the Weimarer Verfassung because that is the last (and potentially the real) German constitution.

Basically one could say that this group has endangered no constitution and that it is not even a violent group but a group that is protecting and aiding dissenters and that this whole little show is nothing but political repression for the sake of protecting vested interest.

Germany has less freedom of speech each day.

They ban a legal organization or a party because they say it works against the constitution.

Next they will not approve the legal registration of a new organization or party with the same people or agenda because the constitutional court isn't an independent court and will always block it at some stage.

The anti-german law is on their side, so they can always find something that could be used against such organization and be considered illegal in court.

It is not only in Germany that these leftists suppress the nationalists freedom of speech, freedom of association, etc ...

Bloody typical hypocrisy from the from the left as usual. Apparently the left believes in freedom of speech, thought and the right for independent political opinion.
And yet we see them perpetuating the very beliefs they accuse the neo-nazis of holding, that they have the right to ban other political parties and arrest it's supporters as whatever they see fit to label them as.

The same was attempted with the BNP in Britain but hasn't quite succeeded.
