In my opinion he doesn't look Asian as in Mongoloid influenced, he's rather Uralid or something along those lines. I'm not sure if this makes sense since Uralids are common in Eastern-Russia.

Maybe some Poles can help me out here. Is his look common in Poland? Also, can he pass for Serbian or some other Balkan?

He'd be very atypical in the Balkans (Cro,Bos,Serbia...) To be perfectly honest, he would look very odd, most of people that have similar look to his and that I know here are mentally handicapped and institutionalized and his appearance would be associated with mental disorders. I currently think of two persons that look very similar and both are institutionalized, they are allowed to go to town and walk among people and both got nickname "Imas Cigaru" and it means "You got a cigarette?" because they walk around and ask people that question all the time and they gesticulate with their two fingers, touching their lips, both are very skinny and tall and not related to each other, they look like brothers of this guy....So in his case for me Its like when you see people that look like they have Down syndrome but are actually perfectly normal, I just don't know with what disorder or syndrome I could associate him with...:eek:

His whole face is totally disharmonious. But that might be rather an individual thing...

He cannot be Dinarid. Real Dinarid have sharper nose and thinner lips.

Rarely this stunningly atypical...whoever I showed this guy's picture here at home and also at work they either laughed or said "Mentol neki...", translated it means that they recognized him as someone who has mental disability...
Need I say that they felt embarrassed when I said he is a good sportsman, It felt so good to make them feel ashamed (?) :clap2::icon_cool:

I am half-Polish he is surely Uralid or something farther eastern and southern in origin. I see nothing of a Polish facial structure. I just do not see this face relating to Polish taxonomy at all.

In fact, in my view there is something highly suggestive of a Jewish heritage to his eyes, nose and mouth in his facial taxonomy, maybe Sephardic or Ashkenazi?

I look forward to other opinions, GeistFaust and Artek hopefully will come in on this one.

Yes, quite so.

It is not in my view so much rare, beyond the region in question of categorisation. It is simply a taxonomy that appears strongly non-Polish.

The profile alone tells IMHO that this man's taxonomy is based elsewhere.

I agree. Armenid also came to my mind because of his smile. But I fail to see what's "uralid" about him.
