My mother scores it and it's stuck after update. In comparison my father results (full SW Slav) look normal. They both tested with FTDNA, so it's not DNA transfer in question.
Why does she scores it? Is it misinterpreted German ancestry? I'd think that but genetically speaking west Germans and English for example aren't that similar at all.

Very weird.

I score 10% Irish btw, even weirder, but in my case it's raw data transfer.

Well, it might be real.

Come on....I'd know if we had any Brit. Such ancestry is inexistant in this part of Europe. But oddly I have tons of Anglo matches in both autosomal and ydna, probably because they overtest.

It's German, cause I'm English and it gave me 0 percent English and 70 per cent German, so I FTDNA kinda mix them up

Ahahah, lol thanks for clarifying. Really weird how they do that.

West German isn't that far off, it is just mixed up. I don't trust most of the main company calcs. 23 and Ancestry are the best.

Tbh, I am not sure how the FTDNA algorithm works, but if its similar to what the other guy said, then yes it is likely Germanic ancestry which would make sense in that specific area
