Does anyone have any papers or resources about differing levels of Neanderthal DNA in different ethnic groups in Europe?

I have heard Tuscans may on average have more Neanderthal variants in there genes let me see if I can find the source(s)....

Figure 5
Mean Amounts of Detected Introgressed Material per Individual, Classified by Affinity to the Altai Neanderthal and Altai Denisovan Genomes (Browning et al. 2018).

Summary
Anatomically modern humans interbred with Neanderthals and with a related archaic population known as Denisovans. Genomes of several Neanderthals and one Denisovan have been sequenced, and these reference genomes have been used to detect introgressed genetic material in present-day human genomes. Segments of introgression also can be detected without use of reference genomes, and doing so can be advantageous for finding introgressed segments that are less closely related to the sequenced archaic genomes. We apply a new reference-free method for detecting archaic introgression to 5,639 whole-genome sequences from Eurasia and Oceania. We find Denisovan ancestry in populations from East and South Asia and Papuans. Denisovan ancestry comprises two components with differing similarity to the sequenced Altai Denisovan individual. This indicates that at least two distinct instances of Denisovan admixture into modern humans occurred, involving Denisovan populations that had different levels of relatedness to the sequenced Altai Denisovan.

Something else to note is that the spread of the neanderthal genome both regionally and individually is not uniform, even though people may only have 2-5% of Neanderthal DNA it can be completely different from one person to another. There is at least 40% of it floating around in the eurasian gene pool.

I am 100%, I even have that browbone clearly visible

I also have a very pronounced brow bone. What's the reason behind it? Could be the small East Asian ancestry? They have the most Neanderthal DNA

Low Brow ridge is one of the most distinctive traits of East Asians lol, Europeans and Papuans have the biggest superobital torus while Asians and SSA have the smallest

Yes but they have the most Neanderthal DNA, interesting.

Asians have the flattest brows of any human beings. The brow ridge is a caucasoid trait.

Its called neoteny, cause in large part by EDAR genes, earlier Asians my have looked robust (like Jomon) but there was strong selection towards neoteny starting 30,000 years ago.

Asians have some of the flattest faces on earth. The brow ridge is a primarily caucasoid trait.

I think my earlier post answered this question.

Here is an example of the diversity of neanderthal genetics, X chromosome linked to certain Neanderthals is much more common in Northern Europe and Native Americans and is nonexistent in East Asians.

Also Neanderthal genes influence the development of the skull and brain are not uniform amongst Neanderthal admixture either.

https://www.livescience.com/64296-neanderthal-dna-human-skull-shape.html

The scientists noted that if a person has more Neanderthal DNA than average, that does not necessarily mean their brain is more oblong. "Two people who have very similar total amounts of Neanderthal DNA — for example, 1 percent of their genomes — may well carry completely different fragments," Fisher said.

Finally, the claim that there is more neanderthal admixture in asians than europeans has been challenged by recent (2019-2020) studies

I agree, asians don't have neanderthal DNA that much. There's a reason you find CM unreduced types only in western eurasia and much less in eastern eurasia. But there were some.

Interesting my source conflicts with yours it says Tuscans on average have 0.5% more Neanderthal ancestry then Finns and British. I am starting to think the author of my article just made some stuff up. Overall it seems Sub Saharan Africans are the closest relatives of the Neanderthal from the Altai mountains despite the fact they have the least Neanderthal ancestry as Neanderthals account for less then 1% of there ancestry.

There were probably two types of deanderhalis, one in Western/Southern Europa and another in Asia, plus Denisova in Asia.
