EHGs are attested to about 75% ANE. EHG on the Pontic/Capsian steppe mixed with CHG = Yamnaya.

Why Baltid? What about him says baltid? Squinty eyes? Come on.

No way. I personally know a lot of people who look like him. None of them are eastern euro.

His sloping forehead and prominent cheekbones:

Anyway SHG like him were most similar to Estonians out of modern populations.

I said Balt-oid vibes but yeah he can pass in east or west no problem.

There is a current study that makes a strong case that the IE languages came from EHGs not CHGs. I will try to find it

And what?
And what?
And a shot in the dark says the ANE spoke a proto-Yeniseian language akin to Mongolian or Turkic languages, nothing to do with Proto-IE.

There is no need for study even, as it is obvious, that this are the same people,
having R1, the same as Elshanka, Samara, Chwałyńsk, Yamna, Corderds aso...

And what? Negroes in America have 85% african au but speak english. Ba! 100% african people speak english in Africa. BUT even if they would originally speak yeniseyan (what is impossible, but let's say) then 1. these are still the same people, who just switched the language, 2. who then spoke IE and where - you have to have an idea and proof to claim that EHG spoke different language.
ANE is just an au of one castizo from far east,
thousands of miles away who was 50-65% EHG.
ANE is just a mix between EHG and AmerInd.

He just looks scandinavian in the soft facial tissue. Probably they had a bias when they made the shape of his eyes, knowing he lived in scandinavia, those eyes look very scando.

IMHO, looks more Finnish than Swedish. I've known Finns of Savonian extraction who looked eerily similar.
