I have seen k13 results from much of France, but I can't find kits from Normandy, which is apparently the most north shifted. Anybody have results from there, as well as a mixed mode?

Normands are close genetically to other french : central, north-western (except the "irish like" Breton area), Southern ; French in general.
Normands are more close to Central French than English or Swedish.

I wonder if these results apply to the whole region or only to smaller parts where viking settlement was more dense, like the Pays de Caux or the Cotentin peninsula. Do you know where he is from in Normandy?

I assume it was a mostly male invasion hence their adoption of the French language. Those guys really were just "semen" sailing the seas, pun intended. I mean it wasn't like the Anglo-Saxon invasion, which wasn't really an invasion I guess but it sounds more badass for the English ego. A Breton chieftain married a daughter of a Saxon chieftain or some shit like that(kind of like a Trojan horse event), where hundreds of thousands of men, women and children set sail for Ape Island.
I guess it is the kind of result one's should expect on the coastal side of Normandy not much in the hinterland.

I believe that the Hiberno Norse brought Irish women with them to the Cotentin and the Anglo Danish settlers brought Anglo Danish women with them to the Pays de Caux, (perhaps explaining the reason they are autosomally Anglo like) but it probably was male mediated in most of Normandy. Then again, I don't really know if all of Normandy is like this, or just those select few regions.
