I am J2a-M67 my direct paternal line goes back to an Ashkenazi Jew probably born during the late 1600's in the Alsace region. His name was Aron he would be my 7th great grandfather. The haplogroup is likely derived from pre-diaspora Jews however a post diaspora Italian origin also seems possible.

I am J2a1b3 (J-L210), which is a subclade of J-M67. I don't know the final subclade though, this is pretty broad/not specific.

paternal line is Ukrainian from the northern Carpathians.
