BTW this video demonstrates how Mari is one of the few languages that has both high and mid front rounded vowels ("ӧ" and "ӱ" in Mari and Bashkir; "ö" and "y" in Finnish; "ö" and "ü" in Turkish, Estonian, and German):

- "You are a very beautiful girl" = "Пеш мотор ӱдыр улат [?]." (I don't know what the last word is.)
- "I love you" = "Мый тыйым йӧратем."

This map is missing many Uralic and Turkic languages, but out of the 562 languages that have been classified for the presence of front rounded vowels, only 23 are listed as having both high and mid front rounded vowels (https://wals.info/feature/11A#2/37.7/148.0):

Provided that Sibel does not look like a typical Turkish woman, but looks more like a Tatar.
