She's a very pretty woman but -above all- was her personality to make her become an icon, with all her "up and downs", excesses, problems, and also the relationship with Kennedy helped a lot! There are surely more beautiful women, she's not the top, but i really like her, the way she was so agrestal, funny but very fragile (he has had a very hard life, in all senses, and her death was, too).

When I was a kid I watched an old movie she was in called "Bus Stop". I was mesmerized by her personality, looks and charm. The next day, I told my older sister about the movie and she informed me Monroe had died decades ago. I was crushed by that news.

Today, I don't find her to be that attractive just looking at her photos, but I haven't watched a movie she was in in a very long time. Pictures do not do her justice, it's really her personality that makes her so interesting and beautiful.

For me she was basically a subnordid, nordic and alpine.
She didn't have the most astonishing beauty in Hollywood but it was combination of looks and a certain mannerism that she was famous for.
I think the fact that she died very young in such a mysterious way and she had a very turbulent childhood all add a very tragic element to her life and has made her such an icon, much bigger than she really was or should have been. Brigitte Bardot for me was much hotter and sexier.

Yes they still looked natural because it was not to the extreme levels that people go to now. I don't think they had anything done to their features because they were naturally pretty. Someone like Kylie Jenner for example looks like a different person and very unnatural.

Yes the most famous and iconic beauty of the modern age is entirely of Isles ancestry. Netflix has a program about her on right now and there is another documentary coming out which will tell who her real father was. It's coming up to 60 years since her death.

Oh, I see. Amazing because obviously, both of them have been dead for a long time. And yes, I'm sure dying young under mysterious circumstances helped cement her legacy. She didn't live to be like 95 and then when she passed away everyone would be shocked that she was still alive until then. She lived quite an interesting life and I do enjoy some of her movies. Her half-sister was assumed to still be living as of 2021 but apparently her Wiki has some albeit dubious sources claiming that she died all the way back in 2014.
