If he is I fail to see it. I guess he wouldn't score as very (if at all) native on genetic level.

He was raised in Dargaville and he is "Maori". That region also has a fair number of "Dalmation" gumdiggers who intermarried with the locals too.

If you look up other images, you can clearly see his ethnic origin. Many here have no idea what polynesians look like. Nor those who are mixed.
