I was near Lyon once, at a basketball competition when my brother was in the national junior team. Unfortunately it wasnt held in the inner city, because It would have been a good time to see the architecture etc. I was younger so I probably didn't give a shit about the city. I've been in a French castle tho somewhere there when we visited one day, it was great as I can recall.

Not me necessarily since the city is not on the coast (AFAIK ?) near the mediterrenean sea , or English channel or Bay of Biscay. It is somewhat near the meditererenean sea but not technically (AFAIK ?).
