i think Craig was even before on the muscular side but yeah def. bulked up a lot for the Casino Royale etc. It certainly was planned so by the Bond producers- they wanted to go another direction- away from the old Bond movies. Also Layer Cake was kind of that movie apparently where Craig was" tested" if he could fit into this role.

USA is more diverse and has more continental Germanic admixture, while Australia is more homogenously British Isles, but the bulk of the population is British, just that Australians are a freshier population and less mixed with people outside the Isles.
