A typical well-off English rural type.

You see guys like him at Upper Class digs like Horse Cross Country events, Rowing, Twickenham etc along with the AS/Tronder types. I'm reaching totally.. but is this there a Norman thing here?

I doubt it, but do you agree that he has the archetypal well-off country gent look?

I agree with North Atlantid + Borreby.

He does indeed, yes. See lots of people like him at Fox Hunting events, for example, along with the other rural upper class types

Agree, remember the trains from waterloo to Twicks being stuffed full of men like him, his complexion seems to be somewhat typical of the upper class, that florid sort of look, ridiculously posh named Tobias Ellwood seems to exemplify the look imo https://www.globalthinkersforum.org/assets/images/common/tobias_ellwood.jpg

OP guy reminds me of sort of Surrey middle class Golf playing types who either looked like Nick Faldo or Sandy Lyle.

Minus the Brunn nose the rest looks more French or Belgian, the eyes and eyebrows especially.

I'll grant that the French do have that eye type more commonly than the English (maybe that's Norman influence ).
