The contrast between Leicester City and most of Leicestershire County is really striking - the only exceptions in the latter being Oadby, Wigston, Birstall and Thurmaston, which are really just suburbs of Leicester despite being administered by the County rather than the City, as well as the town of Loughborough, which is also fairly multiethnic and has an especially large Bangladeshi population.

Yeah, it is different to say the home counties around London where most towns have at least 20% of the younger people being from ethnic minorities.

That depends as well though, surely? Most of Kent and Surrey except for Gravesend and Woking respectively are still pretty White, aren't they? Not to mention most of Essex.

Bucks has big ethnic communities in High Wycombe, Chesham and Aylesbury, Surrey is generally white though a lot of prosperous Asians live in Staines and Woking, in Kent the Dartford-Chatham corridor has become much more multicultural while many parts of S Essex are quite multiracial. It will be interesting to see what this years census presents.

She passes without a problem, just looks like one of my friends. But maybe I'm confusing another type that quite resembles her.

As a side note, those are much darker-haired than the other groups of English young people recently posted. They are in line with Northern French.
