Well, before Imperial Era Italics who lived there were north Italian and SW French like (buth with less steppe and more WHG than modern north Italians and less east Med).

Even modern North Italians are largerly admixed with these very southern like late Romans. You can't model them well as Gaulish-Italic but as Italic+late Roman+Germanic

I'm aware of this, but that would mean hijacking your thread for a Central Euro model!
Well, so thats what I did.
For the Celtic sample I first went for a mix of Bavaria and various Swiss as a proxy (contained a lot of Germanic), but then I changed it for all the France iron age samples on K13 ancient.
And I realised every Austrian right wingers wet dream, I threw out the turks.

We are proud on both proto-Slavic and paleo-Balkan genetic heritage.

But we are primarly Slavs, by our language, our culture, our tradition, as it average 60% of our autosomal genetics (in my case 67%, even though Stearsolina's calculator said almost 70%).

I'm also proud of Paleo-Balkan admixture and actually find Illyrians more interesting than Slavs. Proud to be east and south Euro mix, mostly Slavic but living on wonderful Adriatic coast and having warm south Euro temper.
However I'm not sure how Paleo-Balkan we are. Seems Paleo-Balkan people were heavily decimated by Roman wars and conquest (which lasted almost 300 years) and various diseases like Justinian plague.

Even Albanian language has heavy Latin influence. We may be even more Roman than Paleo-Balkan, which I personally wouldn't like but it seem to be a real possibility.

Ofcourse, there is a lack of Paleo Balkan samples. We will know more about how much Paleo-Balkan compared to Roman we are when more samples appear.
I can't distinguish well these 2 admixture which is why I use Paleo-Balkan and Roman together in my models.

Perhaps 25. With myheritage data which has more snps than my 23andme one I get almost 36% Baltic, but still get lower Slavic than people with 32-33 Baltic because my North Atlantic is almost 28.

Isn't your 23andme from 2015 or so? Then it should have more SNPs than the current MyHeritage chip. It's easy to prove, just convert the latter to V3 format and see for yourself. Of course that's not very important and necessary to begin with.

Yep. I didn't use Swedish average though, just southern Swedes who should be lacking Finnic input other Swedes have.
Didn't check your samples though but I struggled to find good ancient samples because some of them were closest to Brits, Dutch etc so they seemed mixed to me.
