While we have proper nordids and proper Meds, we also have some Nordo-Med textbook examples, like this one from Malaga, Andalucía:

Maybe because he is blond-blue eyed, general pigmentation, straight long nose, and has somehow a "Nordid-Med" skull?

He is the perfect example for a lighter haired and eyed Med. Side profil like that player from AC Milan- Samu Castillejo.

Some use the term Nordo-Med for just light Meds, others dont. He is not Atlanto- Nordid thoguh, because this would be a mixture phenotype for sure. I m also curious if Coon would put him in his exotic Nordic plate, but i m pretty sure he would judged by other examples.

I didn't want to comment on the subject of blond Andalusians because for me it wasn't something exceptional until you listen to the foreigners in these forums who make an incredible effort to prove the opposite and then you know that there is a super important socio-economic background in all this, while you see your Spanish colleagues oblivious to everything and having fun creating calculators that make the Spanish more Moors, mena, gypsies, blacks while in the light is playing a socio-economic-political chess, guys really do not know when you're going to wake up.


Gracile med is an invention and something that is exceptionally found.

I have been in Berlin and yes there were very big people but I saw lots of gracile, blond and petite men of not too tall stature but a lot of them and they were German because I was talking to them.

Spaniards with huge arms, necks and legs and they bring out the Gracile Med, in a sea that goes from Algeciras to Istanbul that covers several different continents, an idiotic thing about gracile med, gracile you find in Switzerland and in northern Europe as well.

Yes, good example, clearly Meddish eye shape but Nordid pigmentation(of course the pigmentation is not Nordid specific could also be coming from Borreby, Baltid, etc, but as he retains a fully long face and skull, we assume it's Nordid). Some people consider "Atlantid" Nordo-Med(and it may very well have its roots from both), but Atlantid is more a specific stable blend resulting in that quintessential dark British look, while this guy I would consider a Nordo-Med proper.

So, he is a Med for you?? The aspect of him having a straight and narrow nose, that his face is quite boned, large and narrow skull and obviously being blond and blue eyed, makes him a Med?? How can a blond blue eyed be considered just a "Med"?? He is blond and blue eyed it is obvious that he has ""germanic"" heritage and genes (even if it is from 1000 years ago), so, if he received those genes for pigmentation he could also have received genes for face structure which in his case are obvious a Med-Nordid mix.

Just the forehead and nose are clearly not Med. Not proper Nordid either, but something in between. Not Med, not Nordid, but a mix of the 2. He can´t be just classified as Med. He is an obvious Nordid-Med mix. Just compare him to the other Spaniard (much stereotypical Spaniard) in the 1º picture and check the differences.

The Nordo-Med is the one with the cap on. There is a french (the one on the right with blonde hair), a Romanian woman (the 1º on the left), and a Mexican (the 1º on bottom left). The rest are Spaniards.
