I already have my 23andme v5 and converted v3 files, since the results are so wildly different for me I decided that I will get a WGS DNA test for my final results. What is the best test in terms of quality of raw data?

I should just do it. Y-DNA I feel is scam because they want you to buy multiple tests and they make it very confusing and then they add some theories that don't make sense with my family history, and then try to make you buy into that agenda or whatever.

could you post your k13 results and no. of SNPs used from both files?

Here you go, the results on k13 differ quite a bit, but the difference is much greater on many other calculators and G25. Also when I upload my raw data to various 'ancestry' sites I get much more accurate results on the converted v3. Which makes absolutely no sense to me.

V3,21.31,33.62,18.13,9.63,12.25,2.97,0.09,0,0, 1.2,0.52,0,0.28
V5,18.98,34.13,19.52,9,13.9,2.53,0,0,0, 1.39,0.54,0,0

Nebula, Sequencing.com is pretty fair price.

those 2 are very similar. i wouldn't buy WGS just because of that. WGS is interesting because you can send it to yfull for deep y-dna and mtdna branch placement.
i guess some (or most?) dna tools just work better when all snps are present, even if those snps are imputed.

could you post some G25 and those other ancestry sites comparisons?

Yeah, but it's not reliable. An imputation/conversion tries to predict your missing SNPs based on the currently available ones. It can easily create false positives.

Sure, but overall it is much more accurate in my case, and like I said, I messaged the people reliable for imputation and they told me that it is extremely reliable. It removes stuff for me which make absolutely no sense, and all I have to do is ignore some values around 0.5%. I'm just gonna do the WGS and see what I get, gonna get the full Y dna stuff as well, so I don't have to rely on dogshit v5 23andme results.

I think Dante Labs was pretty affordable compared to other WGS test at some point, not sure if that's still the case. All companies usually have discounts at different points during the year. You just missed the International Day of DNA the other week.
