I can see the French in them.

You are right, i counted 8 in the first pic alone who look very French, would this be because of more recent migration from France or relics from the pre British population?

I guess a mixture of both, there must always have been interaction, being so close to France, maybe you get some Parisian wealthy types who have moved in, along with Breton locals
