more between Proto Iranid and Atlanto Med. I m not sure if Coon mention any Long Barrow type in this area- which should be a robust Mediterranid similar to those mentioned. He does pass as "Atlanto Med" i d say.

You have to remember that Afghanistan is ethnically diverse and a large country . It's a bit like Mexico except the indingenouis are the caucasoid iranics , the hazaras Uzbeks Turkmens are the Amerindians and the mixed turkic / dark iranics are the mestizos / castizos .

So don't be shocked when you meet a person who call themselves afghan and look Latino/ mestizo , whilst others look Palestinian or some that look Serbian .

Thank you man, but I think it depends what look you have in mind . From my own perspective we do tend to produce some unflattering phenotypes that don't look good on women ( in my opinion ). Usually it's that diapsora dark mestizo look that you get when you mix a dark Turkic / hazara and dark armenoid / indid influenced iranic .

"Purer" types do exist in the majority back home though .

Haha nope, it's the opposite . Tajiks are the more religious ones especially here in the west, pashtuns have more of the " commie " mentality . Although generally both are moderatley practicing .

Tbh I think there is so much inter fighting between ethnic groups within those countries that I would hardly see a greater iranic bond between them . Although diaspora iranics are starting to open up to these ideas . Personally I think Iranians and Kurds have more in common with their immediate neighbiurs like Armenians and Arabs than afghans .
