I was just wondering if I can match anyone here on 23andme. I have an account there. Is there a group forum for this? It would be interesting to see!

Probably best to use Gedmatch and can do one to ones with your ID.

We ve found some matches in the past here, Gooding was a relatively close cousin for example. You would have to exchange gedmatch numbers, im not sure people are willing to do this anymore here these days.

The fact you are "Bavarian" and he is Ashkenazi has little to do with the fact you could well be related somehow, just more unlikely than with other Muricans or full blooded Euros.

Turns out that this post was a prophecy of sorts.. today I found Benyzero on my relatives match list - we are in fact related - proud to be be a part of his fam!

I don't look I-talian. I look Bavarian. I don't have any of those types on my family tree.
