The upcoming Turkish study provided us a lot of new stuff. The mentioned sample belongs to C-ZQ354 (https://yfull.com/tree/C-ZQ354/) which Kipchak DA23(851 YBP, Central Steppe) also belonged in. A Slovak is also accompanying which is also interesting.
The guy is actually half Laz/Georgian/Meskhetian, and we know that it's from his maternal side, as he matches with many Caucasians in X-DNA. However, his other autosomal matches suggest that his father is either a Deliorman or a Macedonian Turkish. The autosomal results also approve it. This finding supports the theory of re-Turkification of pre-Ottoman Turks in the Balkans. Not necessarily all, but at least in the regions where Oghuz settlements were seen.
