He was a Venezuelan physician from Trujillo state, who was recently beatified for his hard dedication to his profession, including attending the poor for free. He died hit by a car in 1919.

He is literally a Saint in Venezuela, people pray to him when someone is sick, he officially got his beatification by the Catholic Church, so people can worship him (Which is the step before canonization, which means when he becomes a Saint). He was an extremely important Physician.

I agree with Gracile Med + Alpine, if there is anything Amazonid I can't really see it.

Alpine-Med + Amazonid

If he had some minor Amerindian, it more likely was from Andean Amerindians (those Amerindians from the northern Colombian-Venezuelan Andes), since he was from the Venezuelan Andes.

He doesn't really have any Andid traits though - PCT, close-set eyes, rounded and convex nose tip, partially the face shape points to more Amazonid influences. Nevertheless, he was a castizo at most, moving in the criollo direction.

San Gregorio... Very popular in my country. I used to think he was a real saint. My maternal grandfather in the countryside used to have a pintura (painting) of him (in his generation it was common to have portraits of different saints).
