He has a really Roman look like one of those busts from ancient Rome . He played the role of a Roman general in the TV series Barbarians

I`m not really adept in classifying people who are not of Northern or Eastern heritage, but I just wanted to remark what an excellent choice he was for that role. Looks authentic, acted authentic and his latin was spot on. All in all a great series, which I strongly recommend and prefer a lot over Vikings.

It literally felt like I was watching the Roman/ Germanic tribes talk it out in 1st century AD. Very authentic programme and the Roman general looked like someone from that time . Incredible casting .

Yes I really like the fact they choose him (he's italian btw) and it was even better when he spoke in Latin really felt authentic
the worse being the serie "roman empire" they took a red haired anglo to play cesar...

Littorid looks more etruscan than original latin.
Republican Rome was badass, fascist and no fucks given to the core, and then they became too comfortable (imperial era) which led to their downfall. This scene still kicks ass(Germanic ass), better than that tv series imo.

Brits are a varied bunch, and they have an actor who's almost his twin whose name escapes me, so some can almost pass, but film companies usually choose people known by the public.

It's a German speaking TV series not British . The actor cannot pass in Britain at all, looks stereotypically Mediterranean imo .
