Vaida is Lithuanian first name, derived from "vaidilute" - feminine form of priest (like druid) in old Baltic religion. We call them "vaidelote", but as first name Vaida is very rare in Latvia.
Vaida/Vajda/Wajda is also surname in Romania, Hungary, Poland and some other countries.

I know Ukrainians who look quite similar to her as well.

Vaida has quite an interesting look for a Lithuanian, as anti-Baltid as possible for a Lithuanian, alhough there is some Baltid in her look anyway...
