Civis, I have not understood yet if you adore Italy or if you hate it.
Thanks for sharing, Basilicata is one of the least known regions of Italy. It seems beautiful, wonderful sea!

How come Vallée d'Aoste is included?
Why not Südtirol while we're at it?

I like the place -- after all: how can one hate the Renaissance, the birth of modern civilisation, Roman technological and cultural achievements ? I fucking hate Berlusconi though. As that tosser is giving you lot such a bad rep abroad. :thumb001:

One could make a convincing argument that the Italians were the greatest people who ever lived.

They would certainly be included in my top 3.

Ouistreham, carissimo, fattene una ragione: la Val d'Aosta è italiana tanto quanto è francese.

Non è proprio la stessa cosa dei krukken in Alto Adige (che peraltro hanno occupato un territorio in precedenza latino). ;)

calling them french it's like calling Catalans french just because catalan is closer to occitan than to castillian. doesn't make much sense.

Yes Italy certainly is "il belle paese"...i was thinking that to myself yesterday evening when i was walking the dog and took this picture.

You can understand why Tom Cruise got married here.

Southern Calabria on the Ionian Sea is the most relaxing places on earth. If you want to get away and disconnect, this is the place. It’s like going back in time The people are so friendly, loving and happy.

If you have spare time and are interested Google Maps/Earth have updated their StreetView app., almost every city, town and village and even great pockets of wild countryside are now covered.
