I tought he was French. Surprising! I think he is atypical in Southern Euro countries. Spaniards are about 47-53% Northern Euro and Danish about 80-90%. So he is around 60-70% Northern. But still can pass IMO.

A guy with a Spanish surname isn't necessarily half Spanish or even significantly Spanish...a close friend of mine is mostly British/Irish yet he has an Italian surname from one of his distant ancestors.
