I have a new closest Y-DNA match! And he is ethnic English. Previously, my closest matches were Spanish, but they were related to me ~2900 years ago.

My new English match is related to me two times closer than my Spanish matches, we are related around ~1500 years ago. He has contacted me saying:

Quote: "I heard from the R1b-DF27 Project Admin yesterday morning. Me and you split from the Spanish ~3,000 years ago, and it looks like I split from you ~1500 years ago. In the next couple of weeks, you and I will be on a new branch. He said that us being on a branch together and possibly separating when we did could possibly hint that my ancestors came to England with the Anglo-Saxon migrations. Although hard to know for sure if I moved west or you went east, although it does bring to mind your Lugii>Vandal scenario. He said it’s kind of difficult to tell exactly though because you are on an older Big Y-500. A big region of my Big Y-700 mutations aren’t covered on your old Big Y."

Well I think at least the "Sephardic Jewish refugee in Poland" hypothesis is now dead?

Another trait connecting spanish Tarshish theory with british Tarshish.

Never was alive, as you still do not even know, if your hg is the correct one.

So is it an Anglo-Saxon hg or a Celtic one?

Does that mean Peterski is a Celtiberian then?

Just Celt if so. But he can be just a local pre-Celt or local polish Celt. It cannot be
known for sure, the more, that he did not confirm his result, so, we don't know, if is
correct, neither he made a deeper biografical and genealogical research. It is just a
sole sample. Means almost nothing specific, except, that he is an Indoeuropean.

Btw, I made a much more broad research, almost everything what is possible at now
and still can't be sure, to which part of Indoeuropeans subscribe myself in antiquity...

He is already on YFull (apparently me + him will form a new branch, to the exclusion of the Spanish guy):
