All of my known ancestors are Croats. Given my light pigmentation I expected my baltic or na to be that high, but I didn't expect east med to be above 13.

Any other Croats on here with similar results as me? They seem pretty rare :)

Thanks for sharing the data and information. You could post them on the Croatian results thread (https://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?342150-Croatian-results-thread) where we collect them. Considering those we already have in the Croatian database of more than 200 samples you certainly aren't only Croatian but Slavonian sample with East_Med above 13 or being so "western" shifted on the Vahaduo PCA.

Sum of those numbers is 103. Looks fishy.

damn, he really boosted that baltic percentage thinking we're stupid, croats really suffer of some strange inferiority complex towards serbs

Look at this digusting Romanian troll. How many threads about Croats you opened?
I wouldn't be suprised if this person is your sock.

Slavonian member Vrazijadivizija has same Baltic percentage as this person, and other Slavonian woman I personally tested scores 40% Baltic.
This result is nothing special even though it's fake.

You can check out Croatian results thread because update on regional averages would be welcome (especially for eastern Croats who have lowest sample number)
There's a lot of results there you can use, what's posted by Commonsense, Vbn and me (if region is specified and unmixed), probably by Ion as well.

Edit: just now I see your message you've been checking the thread :)

Even though I need to express my scepticism for value of these averages. Reason is that today most commercial testes are made with snps cut in half and thus results can be pretty unreliable.
My 23andme result is 32 Baltic and nearly 30 North Atllantic, on Myheritage I get nearly 36 Baltic and 27 North Atlantic.

Such differences are very significant and that's why I don't know how reliable averages will be (especially because nowadays most people test with Myheritage)
From what I observed, low snp tests have visible eastern bias.

Not only that, but they most likely connect to an older member from here. That guy from "Suceava" wd1089 could be yet another alt of his.

Your obsession with Croats is interesting.

There is north, south, west and east, and BiH Croats belong to south, as south is everything south of Sava river (traditional border of Roman Provinces Dalmatia and Panonnia).
Croats in Dalmatia and BiH are mostly of same stock due to Ottoman Era migrations, but I don't expect dumb troll like you to know that.

Not at the same Atlantic levels (difference of 3%), but I agree that this is nothing special for the region apparently. That guy from Eastern Croatia that I donated, was at a similar level of NA+Baltic, but with stronger NA presence.
Anyway, results are either partially or fully fake

Bosnia croats belong to south only in your head, they have significantly more baltic and east med dna while south croats have more north atlantic and west med due to italian influence

"Significantly". Lmao. They have 1% more Baltic on average. Dalmatian Croats don't have any significant Italian influence, number of Italians in Dalmatia was always extremely small. Our native Romance population is by no means Italian neither did they speak Italian language. Half of Dalmatia is settled from BiH and there were migrations to Dalmatian islands from Bosnia even before the Ottomans.

Stop lecturing me about my ethnicity.

Croatians from Zadar are often Italian influenced.

Yes, but that is only one city. As you already know, vast majority of Italian speakers in Dalmatia were local Slavs or Vlachs who used Italian as lingua franca, or means to get higher in society in coastal cities. Dalmatia is nothing like Istria, where Italian population really was significant trough history.

Not all Italians in Dalmatia were Slavs and Vlachs who adopted Venetian/Italian language. Some were descendants of colonists from Italy in Venetian time.
Several Croatian results from Zadar posted by some users here including you had lower Baltic and higher West Med than Dalmatian average. If Dalmatian Italians were just italianized locals that persons from Zadar with Italian influence would be like other surrounding Dalmatians, their Baltic wouldn't be downgraded and West Med high.

Robocop who is from Zadar is 1/4 Italian.

One woman which live 2 streets from me is 1/2 Croatian, 1/4 Serbian, and 1/4 Italian. Her father was half Croatian half Serb (his father was Croatian and mother Serbian, both from Vrlika area), and her mother is half Croatian (from some island) half Italian (from Zadar).
She is married for Serb (from Vrlika area).

Nobody denied that there were some genuine Italians in Dalmatia trough history, especially in Zadar, but it's correct to say their number never exceeded 10% which is not much (Italian speaker =/= ethnic Italian). Italian cultural influence in Dalmatia is much higher than their ethnic input. Zadar also has significant Catholic Gheg Albanian influence, and most of them are Croatized.

Of course. Italian cultural influence in Dalmatia is much higher than genetic influence. Coastal and islander Dalmatian with Italian genetic input are rare. Zadar is exception due to signifact Italian community before 1945. In hinterland Italian genetic influence doesn't exist. Most of the ancestors of Dalmatians from hinterland never seen Venetians in their life during the period of Venetian rule.
I forgot for Catholic Albanians in Zadar. They are fully assimilatted in Croatian nation in 19th century. They settled in Zadar about 1730 from northern Albania.
