Yes he is native , there was only one foreigner and that was the journalist lady

He doesn't look English but he could pass, you get phenotypes like that popping quite often in the panjshir valley/ NE Afghanistan .

Haha yeah he looks ultra Caucasian/ Balkan looking , he looks even like a stereotypical square headed Albanian / Bosnian .

Btw , where in middle East can they pass? They look more like they could pass in the Caucasus than anywhere in middle East tbh?

yeah- the "Dinaro- Borreby" / Mtebid block headshape is peculiar indeed.

Iran, Iraq , also East Tukey to some extend- Samin Sharifi looks Kurdish to me. A few just look Pan- Oriental. There is a lack of East Alpines and Taurids for Caucasus but passing on individual level might be another story.

You know it is funny i was watching a youtube video a few weeks back with a pakistani guy on it and one of the highest upvoted comments was about him looking like an Asian G Southgate, obviously he does not look Iranian in reality though.
