As some of you know many male Native Americans in North America (especially among the Algonquin and Na-Dane speakers) have Y-Haplotype R1b. The question that has befuddled some people is whether the Y-Haplotype R1b found in high concentrations in certain North American indigenous tribes is from post-Columbian settlers from western Europe or from an ancient Eurasian population that crossed over to the Americas through the Bering Bridge.
Where do you think the Y-Haplotype R1b came from found among many contemporary North American indigenous males?
