Didn't watch this, but why (the question from the side of Russian conspirologists) his army with direction to Moscow instead of St Petersburg - the capital in that time

That is a legitimate question. If he got to the capital first, which was St. Petersburg, it would be much easier because he'd move by the coasts of the Baltic, and then, he could march to Moskva.
