According to the 'Gavros' newspaper, Borussia Dortmund have made an official complaint to UEFA over the content of Wednesday nights coreo. The part which seems to have given offence to the Germans was the large banner displayed over the Gate7 end of the stadium (showing a mounted knight symbolically striking the country of Germany with his lance).

However this image seems to have offended the oversensitive Dortmund team who have made the official protest. As an aside, the official observer of the match will need to submit his notes and if a case is found, the team will be made or organise a plea in defence and perhaps receive a fine.

The actual complaint relates to 'an offensive image which shows a lack of respect towards Germany'. Other more imaginative observers state that it is an allegory of St George and the Dragon (the beast classically representing evil) - the dragon in this case being Germany.
