It is a small country but surrounded by very different (genetically) neighbours. So maybe it has led to differences in borderlands and in regions adjacent to each neighbour?

Their neighbours are in fact very similar to them, except the Italians. There could be some intrersting mixes in the regions close to Italy, but i haven't seen them yet.
