Anderson Luís de Souza known as Deco, Born in São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil. Deco was never called up for the Brazilian team, as the Brazilian team of his time included other midfielders like Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Juninho and Kaká. In 2003, after completing six years of residency in Portugal, he managed to obtain Portuguese citizenship and was invited to play for the Portuguese national team.
