PS:

It is also fine if you send just GEDmatch kit or K36 results.

Often I've been reading on anthroforums numerous posts, usually by Northwestern European users, claiming that it is virtually impossible to distinguish British and Irish genetics from Scandinavian.
Is that really something that's commonly written? I've heard people say that it is very difficult to distinguish Northwest Europeans generally, which has been somewhat true, but not so much British/Irish from Scandinavians. British (English particularly) overlap heavily with Dutch, not Scandinavians.

Anyway my father is closer to Scandinavians than to British/Irish on gedmatch calculators, but on commercial tests he gets 100% Irish. So they are obviously distinguishable, it just requires something more powerful/high res to get it 100% right all the time.

The Malayan component contains South Asian and likely Negrito/Onge-like admixture imo. Those Indonesian ethnic groups usually score South Asian in admixture runs along with minor amounts of MENA or Euro.

But it will put you on EU's red list and EU police will take you to one of those SARS extermination camps they're building.

Yes I also think so. Hoabihnian Hunter-Gatherers scored a lot of it, and so do modern Andamanese, Onge & Jarawa.

On some commercial tests he would probably score high Scandinavian as well. On MyHeritage or something.

Anyway - you have already disclosed your father's ethnicity and results, instead of sending me for analysis.

I cannot find Blogger Template Style section - which line of code is it (at least approximately)?

Certain Scottish groups might overlap with Icelandic or Norwegian but , yeah, the English are cut from the same clothe as the Dutch I get Dutch as my single closest population in G25 scaled and Dodecad K12B (I get Dutch after 'mixed Germanic') I think that is because there is more Celtic ancestry in the low countries, than is commonly realized, especially in distinction to Denmark where the Angles came from.

I'm sure if you send me anonymized raw data files (or even just GEDmatch kits) of Scottish people, I will properly label them as British Isles. And Icelandic or Norwegian will be properly labelled as Scandinavian. Only mixed individuals can be problematic.

Interesting... This area (distinguishing most precisely the Scando/germanic from the Celt) is right up my alley, and probably scores of potential DNA testers in the Anglo$phere, and ought to be the "next step." I'd be ready to submit my raw data to such determinations. How far are we from such a genetics-testing reality?
