France is a big country though i think that ethnic differences between regions are less stark than in many other European countries including much smaller ones, thoughts?

Lorraine students are a bit more Germanic, but not actually that much. Bretons don't really look British, despite the supposed link.

True, Lorraine is in the more Germanic zone that stretches across the north eastern part of France, Britanny like Galicia is Celtic only in language.

I think they look transitional between Southern Euros and Central/Northern Euros, but with their own look, which is diferent from both, but with a significant overlap with countries north of the Alps.

Why did you say like Galicia that they are Celtic only in language?

What i notice is that the dinaricism of the nose seems to be really noticeable, a gaulish look is characteristic especially in many of the men which i think sets them apart from Germans or the Flemish.
