Yeah, Mordvins are half wogs, because based on f2 distance, they are are approximately equally close to Chuvashes and Chad Spaniards (13/1e4).

I made a PCA with separated Moksha and Erzya and some of the closest populations. They are close to each other and quite homogenous on a larger scale (some are closer to Baltic Finnic, some to Tatars, Slavs). They cluster with Russians from Kostroma who are partly Finnic.
Among Erzya there were some homogeneous cluster who are closer to Tatars and Komi than average Moksha, Moksha results look more scattered.
From all Volga and Perm Finns they are closer to Komi. Mordovians are further to Ukrainians or Poles than to Baltic Finns, but Southern Russians who are close related to both pulls them closer in PCA:

In the heatmap Erzya clustered with Slavic and Baltic populations (approx. right square in PCA) and Moksha with Finnic and Turkic populations (approx. left square in PCA).
