alpine- wide face, nose shape mostly
mediterranean- eye area(shape ) , low cheekbones.
nordic- light hair, type 2 skin, longer face.

most of his traits are a mix of these 3 phenotypes's traits, so it is a little complicated to pinpoint everthing precisely,for example his head is too narrow to be the head of an alpine so this coud come from the mediterranean or nordic.

True, many sicilians look MENA.
Your cousin's face would be more typical in Veneto, for example.

His dna test said he is 40% northern Turkey 44% southern Italy and the rest split between South Caucasus and Levantine. It was surprising as most at least half of the family is fair headed and quite pale we expected to come out quite Norman/Germanic possibly preserved by some founder effect. The closest reanalysis of the data from Gedmatch is 91% east Sicilians and 9% Adyghe. Really weird!
