London has more statues of animals than it does of women and people of color, a new study says

Across London, 8% of public sculptures depict animals, whereas solely 4% depict women, in response to the study from the British charity Art UK, which was printed on Thursday.
People of coloration signify simply 1% of the town’s sculptures, with women of coloration accounting for 0.2%, it discovered.
The figures sit in stark distinction to that of statues and sculptures devoted to males, which account for over 20% of the town’s 1,500 monuments, and over 79% of all statues devoted to “named people,” the report stated.
Royalty, navy figures, politicians, writers, artists, designers and actors are among the many mostly depicted male topics, Art UK stated.
