I think I have seen pictures of Haitians with his kind of phenotype. But I don't know much about SSA phenotypes.

Where in the Americas would he pass?

The most basic tip about them is that Senegalids, Sudanids and Dinkas are the darkest among those types.

TBH I think facial features are pretty important too, if not more so. I just noticed his nose looks a bit different than Nigerian and other north west SSA people (and by extension Anglo Carribean and African American types)

Sudanid related types seem to be more abundant in the British West Indies for some reason. Granted, they aren't unknown around these parts, but they aren't that abundant either. Congolids and Guinesids seem to have the supremacy instead.

Do you know where slaves came from originally in Africa? I think it's NW Sub Saharan Africa for African American and Anglo Caribbean types, but I don't really know where Haitians and Pacific Coast Afro Colombians and Ecuadorians are from.

For all of them it was mainly between the Congo and Benin, the difference being that in Haiti the Beninese would exert a stronger cultural and linguistical evidence, while in the blacks that went to the continent the prevalence of Kikongo was stronger.

Thanks, very interesting! Do Aframs and Jamaicans etc have ancestry mostly from around Nigeria and Ghana?

Yep, almost uniformly. In fact, of the Caribbean Hispanics that happen to have some ancestry from them in 23andMe (mainly some Panamanians, Domis and Cubans) all seem to have in common that they have more Ghanaian ancestry over Senegambian, the latter which is sort of the mark of African ancestry for the rest of us.
