Hi everyone; my results from MH arrived yesterday and I could transfer my raw data to My Living DNA as well (I had to wait like 3 hours to have my results lol)....so this is what I got

The mesoamerican and andean components are in reality "mestizo" (Idk why MH does that but whatever)

And yeah, my results are not uncommon in the zone where I live; but Central and Southern is more hard to score it xddd

Yes, as I am sure you know the reputation of the MH estimate maybe as the worst of the big commercial tests. LivingDNA is better, more reliable, and more consistent imo.

Sí lo he pensado; ya que Celtíbero me lo ha recomendado, y dice que hasta ahora el G25 es el mejor de todos; de hecho acerca de mi haplogrupo él me mencionó de que era origen Caucásico, exactamente Judío Sefardí...en cambio Alfonso me ha dicho que es muy probable que sea un haplogrupo llegado a Iberia en el neolítico, por lo que mi ascendiente era español y que llegó a América.

Qué opinas tú al respecto Bro? Xd

I suggest you upload the data to yourDNAportal. They have plenty of calculators (from old Gedmatch to more recent ones). We'll find out your exact racial breakdown.

Exacto, soy harnizo genéticamente...le calé al Gedmatch y sigo sacando como 35% Amerindio, 4.5% SSA y el resto Caucásico.

Family Tree DNA is located in Houston, TX. If they ship to Europe and Asia, I'm sure they also ship to Mexico around the corner.

He is 35% native, 4% black and like 61% caucasoid. Basically a harnizo with residual SSA.

Sí; ya lo puse en las calculadoras del K13, k15, K36, Dodecad World9...los resultados de esas calculadoras eran bastante parecidos, más o menos sacaba entre 59.1% hasta 63.81% Caucásico; por eso digo que soy 2/3 caucásico; lo chistoso es que de mi lado euro (Que es puramente español) tiro más hacia el Oeste, por lo que algunos amigos españoles me han dicho que mi ancestría es mayormente/principalmente extremeña.

Es que de verdad yo no te veo claramente un sólo rasgo extra. ;)
Para mi siempre te ves bien ibérico… y eso de que yo te decía que además de español te ves muy portugués, ahora viendo que tendrías mucho de extremeño tiene sentido ya que son frontera! :thumb001:

Yo también estaba sorprendido, pensé que tendría más de andaluz o castellano pero parece que ese no fue el caso; aunque no me tomó completamente de sorpresa ya que sabía que habían llegado al actual México muchos de Extremadura también xdd y pues como un amigo me dijo: "Tu lado español es de la región de los conquistadores" más o menos así jaja

It's sorta common in the Western of México (Where I am) even some towns where built by Jews, but the Northern of México is more common have that ancestry in the whole country...the Center and Southern are so less common that those 2 regions that I wrote.

I remember by the Candela Study that the average Mexican is 3% MENA/Jew.

For example, I have just a little bit of Sephardic Jew but my Y-DNA haplogroup is from that origen lol and I am from Northern-Central and Western of México.

myheritage in Sweden said that everything under 25% is equal to 0% and even if it goes higher it still cluld be wrong, they said the only thing you shuld look at are the ethnicity group/groups you get, becouse that is the more accurate result of everything, now if they are right or wrong i dont know

MyHeritage has one of the biggest jewish databases, of course it's not 100% accurate, but it does indicate a jewish component (or jewish-like).

My paternal haplogroup is Sephardic Jewish so yeah, I have some of them in my autosomal DNA ;)

Jaja yeah; I look more European than my results; it means that it's not always true phenotype = Genotype (Or at least it happens in mestizos case lol)

Might be more, if you take into account that Amerindians were an Old World mixed race population to begin with when they crossed Bering.

Yo llevo leyéndote años decir 55% euro y 2-3% africano.

Bueno; es que viendo los resultados de mexicanos y chicanos me daba una idea jaja pero también estoy algo impresionado xd

Pues sí, ya casi le atinaba jeje en dependiendo la calculadora y los test de las empresas comerciales varían los resultados, pero no tanto, ya que voy desde el 59.16% hasta el 65% Caucásico/Europeo... así que estoy en el rango 2/3, es decir harnizo.

Lo de mi lado SSA la erré un poco, porque soy básicamente casi 4.5% y pensé que sería 6% cuando mucho jaja

Do you mean the ANE and the other ancient components? If it's that then I used those calculators of Gedmatch:

-k3: 64.71% West Eurasian, 28.53% East Eurasian and 6.76% SSA

-k6: 66.34% ANE/Hunter-Gather/Natufian, 27.32% East Asian/ASE and 6.35% SSA

-K7: 70.17% ANE/WHG-UHG/ENF, 23.4% East Eurasian/ASE and 6.44% West and East African

MH makes no sense in this case but the LDNA results are fairly solid, a high European percentage (for Mexico). Good.

You have to be fucking kidding me?? around close to 20% of Mexico pop Is over 70% European, glad to know you go base on sterotypes.

Don't worry about it. They just tell you their approximation for deep ancient ancestors. Most people make it only for the lolz.

Jaja I see; yeah, the approximations were not very accurate tbh, in fact I was talking with a friend who understand more than me about all this and she said I was little bit more Caucasoid-shifted when saw my results from that company xdd
