Scandalous indeed. That's because you love Subnordics/Alpine influence. What about compared to Ulster Farmers?

Lol, not as fair skinned as ulster farmers, though many would pass in each place

Is the difference between the Somerset Farmers (I've also posted Devonians before) and Northumberland/Yorkshire Farmers greater, lesser, or the same as expected?

Most of them would fit in right here in rural South Carolina if they had a little bit of a sun tan.

Re-posting Young Farmers from Devon here, the next county over, for a bigger pool of Southwest English.

I would say the same as expected, sort of equivalent to the difference between people from Flanders and Wallonia i would say but with less of a hair colour divide(most regions are not that different in terms of blondeness except perhaps the easternmost districts of England.

Anglo-Celtic

My main takeaway is that the "dark areas" and the "light areas" aren't much different from one another. It seems like there's a lot of confirmation bias, and I wonder what would happen if eastern regions were labeled as western regions.

I'd like to test the comparative differences there genetically but I don't have a Wallonian average, it seems to me that SW English are a bit closer to Northern English than Walloons are to Flemish, being different ethnicities. Are you saying they are both rather similar or rather different?

Yes. That's why it's always amusing to hear someone on here say that some swarthoid 'could pass in SW England', like it's another ethnicity, Bretons or something.

More or less they are similar, i think few could tell apart a group from Wallonia and one from Flanders that easily especially those in parts of Wallonia near the language division(further south they are more French looking) maybe it is more like the difference between Flanders and south Netherlands actually which is more comparable as they actually are the same ethnicity and only differ in subtle ways.

Mostly Atlantids and some Brunns. They don't strike me as particularly Germanic, which makes sense given the genetics of the region.

They look mostly Germanic with strong Keltic admixture. Very blonde also (blonder than average Germans)... There is a good reason why English people in urban areas are browner haired (these cities were magnets for Irish/Scottish/Welsh immigrants). Rural Southern US "hillbillies" or mormons from Utah preserve pre-industrial era English look better and they look pretty similar to these farmers (with more Corded though)
