Unmixed Polish Gedmatch Results (Mazovia)

Hi!

I think my Gedmatch results can be very good for average of Warsaw region and eastern Mazovia.
All my grandparents were only from this area. First 4 generations only from Mazovia.

Surprisingly my closest distances are Silesia and Warmia Masuria. On paper trail I don't have ancestors from this areas. Even 250 years ago.
On paper trail I have only ancestry from Warsaw, northeastern Mazovia and Hannover.

Your West Med is somewhat high. Other than that, that's a regular Polish result to me.
Can you show your Dodecad K12b components?

Isn't your grandmother partially German? This would shift you western and make you plot closer to Western, NW and Southern Poles who have more of Celto-Germanic DNA than Mazovians. But you are probably not a rare case, at least according to Michał Milewski it is not uncommon for Poles from Mazovia to have a German ancestor from the 1800s or early 1900s. Polish user Artek from this forum also has some Łódź German ancestors. Question is, wouldn't it be better to use only samples without known recent German admixture as a reference anyway?

Yes she is.
I tried simply something new with modelling. I read thread about German, Polish Gedmatch results and thought - hmm... if my recent ancestors lived only in Mazovia, maybe I should use only average of Mazovia + Lower Saxony, because it's my paper trail.
Question is about genetics. They lived in Mazovia but genetically.... I can only suppose they were pure very very Slavic without other influcences.

Yes, West Med is for me surprisingly high for Pole, especially from Mazovia. If I delete Basque, Spain I score Aquitaine or France South. Without South France I score mainly Austria or Saarland. But I supposed it could be Hungary, but I don't score that country.
