Lithuania proper has its own Lapponoid relic nucleus. All surrounding groups, incl. Polish part od SE Lithuania were more Nordid. Its well described basing also on Soviet Baltic Expedition data.

Interesting data. There should be many Baltid types included into Lapponid because i counted only some 5 percent incidence of pure East-Baltid/Lappid/Ladogan/Sub-Uralid subtypes together among Lithuanians, and here is a morph:

If i count mixed individuals, then also no more than 10 pct. All depends on typology.
Note that pure Lappids usually have dark hair and eyes like this morph from Baltic, however this again is not pure Lappid but some darker type with Mongolid-like appearance. Probably Gorid sometimes have pseudo-Mongoloid look, althought Lappid admixture is possible.

This is a multi-criteria statistical approximation to pure types (admixture), not the percentage of pure types. Overall, this structure suggests that Lithuanians are mostly SubNords (and / or Baltic, according to some authors, but without a strong admixture of CM). They are surrounded by continental Nordic populations.

However, statistically, there should be Scandinavian like structures around Liepaja.
